Description
Not every trade show idea deserves to become a real event. Most don’t. The difference between a viable show concept and an expensive fantasy is five measurable factors: industry concentration (fragmented markets make strong show markets; concentrated ones don’t), purchasing complexity (high-consideration B2B purchases drive trade show demand; transactional ones don’t), innovation velocity (fast-changing industries generate continuous buyer evaluation demand), geographic density (shows need enough qualified buyers within travel range to fill the hall), and existing gathering behavior (it is far easier to capture existing gathering behavior than to create it from scratch). Each factor is scored 1??5. Combined score below 15 is a documented red flag with alternative paths. Above 20 is a strong signal. Delivered as a scored matrix with supporting data and a written go/no-go recommendation.
